Indian Air Force (IAF) has released an advertisement for recruitment for the post of Telephone Operator Grade II, Multi-Tasking Staff & Safaiwala. Total No. of Post is 16. These posts are for Air Force Station Sohna Road, Gurgaon. The eligible candidates may apply for the post in the prescribed format within 30 days (01 October 2018) of publication of advertisement in the employment newspaper.
The Indian Air Force is the air arm of the Indian armed forces. Its primary responsibility is to secure Indian airspace and to conduct Aerial warfare during a conflict. It was officially established on 8 October 1932 as an auxiliary air force of the British Empire and the prefix Royal was added in 1945 in recognition of its services during World War II.

Age Limit: 18-25 Years
Pay Scale: Tele. Opr Gde II = Level 2, Index-1 as per 7th CPC pay matrix table + other allowances as admissible
MTS/Safaiwala = Level 1, Index-1 as per 7th CPC pay matrix table + other allowances as admissible
The selection process will be done on the basis of written examination. Written examination will consist of General Intelligence and reasoning. General English Numerical Aptitude and General Awareness of 10th standard.
Note: The exam would be conducted in Air Force Station Sohna Road Gurgaon venue/entry exit point will be intimated in the call letter.
Application forms duly typed on A-4 size paper as per the given application format are required to be addressed to the Air Officer Commanding Air Force Station Sohna Road, Gurgaon-122001. The envelope containing the application form should be marked clearly on the Top “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____”. Applications are to be forwarded only through ordinary post. Applications sent through Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier will not be accepted.
Documents Enclosure –
1) Passport size photograph attested by Gazetted Officer duly pasted on application form.
2) Attested copy of date of birth certificate or Matriculation Certificate or School Leaving Certificate.
3) Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/PH issued by a competent authority.
4) True copy of Employment Exchange registration card, if any.
5) Copy of experience certificate.
6) Self-addressed envelope of affixing Rs.5/- postal stamp to be attached along with the application.
