THDC India Limited (formerly known as Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Ltd.), is a Joint Venture of Govt. of India and Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. The Equity is shared in the ratio of 75:25 between GoI and GoUP for the Power Component. Tehri Dam has been conferred the prestigious award of “International Milestone Project” of International Commission of Large Dam (ICOLD) in Oct.’09 in China, considering the Uniqueness of its design and construction features.

Note: Only Candidates who are the domicile of Uttarakhand are eligible to apply. Only ITI passed (regular candidate) in the years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 from recognized Institutes in the respective trades can apply for the vacancy in the designated trade.
There will be no interview. The eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list-cum-counseling formed on the basis of marks secured in Matriculation examination (10th) and ITI Examination.
Candidates are required to first enroll themselves in the “Apprenticeship Portal” otherwise their application/candidature will not be considered. Please see www.apprenticeshipindia.org after enrolment in the website it is suggested to kindly take the print out of the registration no as received in your email. As it will be required while applying for THDCIL training.
