Directorate Animal Husbandry Department (Pashupalan Vibhag), Uttarakhand invites applications for recruitment of Pashudhan Prasar Adhikari or Livestock Development Officers. Directorate Pashupalan Vibhag has released notification for filling up 120 vacant seats of Pashudhan Prasar Adhikari or Livestock Development Officers.
Livestock farming is germaine to Uttarakhand and forms an integral part of the rural economy contributing in some form or the other to household income and family nutrition, besides producing the much needed biomass and draught power for agricultural operations. This activity is carried out in millions of household across the state and provides employment to the marginal and landless farmers.

Age Limit(as on 01.01.15) : 21 – 42 yrs
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-
Graduate (B Sc.) in Zoology/Agriculture/Animal Husbandry. AND Registration in Uttarakhand Employment Office.

Application Form – Application form are available at various post offices at Almora, Bageshwar, Gopeshwar, Rudraprayag, Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Pantnagar, Pauri, Pithoragarh, Champawat, Srinagar (Garhwal), New Tehri, Uttarkashi at an amount of Rs. 150/- for SC/ST and Rs 250/- for other categories candidates.
1) Matriculation certificate in support of age.
2) All educational certificates in support of educational qualifications.
3) Caste certificate viz., SC, ST and OBC
4) Two recent passport size photographs.
The selection will be done on the basis of the performance in written examination conducted by GB Pant University. The question paper will be objective type of 100 marks with time duration of 2 hours.
