State Government is going to recruit 659 Women PRD in Uttarakhand. GO has been released by Uttarakhand government for the recruitment of Women PRD in state. Youth Welfare and Prantiya Rakshak Dal Department will carry out PRD recruitment process. Priority will be given to Widow and divorcee in the form of extra 5 marks.
659 Posts of PRD is reserved for women in all 13 districts of Uttarakhand. Presently total 6590 PRD Jawans are working in various departments of the state. For the first time PRD Jawans will be recruited by a proper selection procedure. There are 119 posts for Women PRDs in Dehradun district.
Minimum education qualification for PRD Jawan job in Uttarakhand is 8th class pass. Selection Committee consisting DM, SSP, and District Youth Welfare & PRD Officer will select the PRD jawans.
Training Period
Women PRD candidate will have to get a 22 days training in each district at Police Line or places choosen by DM.
Stipend
Selected PRD Jawan will be provided Rs 350 per day stipend.
