All such recruitment examinations of Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission will be cancelled, in which evidence of disturbances is found. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday gave orders to the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police in this regard. The Chief Minister held a high-level review meeting on Wednesday regarding the recruitment scam in UKSSSC. Taking a strong stand on the shortcomings exposed in the recruitment process, the Chief Minister stressed upon the speedy punishment of all the guilty.

CM Dhami said that the culprits should be identified and arrested and their illegal property confiscated, Gangster Act should also be imposed. He said that the examinations through which tainted persons got appointment, their appointment should be cancelled. At the same time, action should be taken against those who got jobs by making disturbances as per rules. He also directed to fill up the vacant posts in all departments in a clean and transparent manner as soon as possible. Chief Secretary Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Director General of Police Ashok Kumar, Special Principal Secretary Chief Minister Abhinav Kumar and Secretary Chief Minister Shailesh Bagoli were present in the meeting.

Following Recruitment Exams could be Cancelled

1. Gram Panchayat Officer Exam – Vigilance has registered a case

2. Forest Guard Recruitment Exam – Copying cases were registered, but have been closed

3. Secretariat Guard Recruitment Examination – Recently on the orders of DGP, STF is engaged in investigation

4. Judicial Junior Assistant Recruitment Exam – STF is investigating.

Graduate Level Exam may be canceled

After the order of the Chief Minister, the Graduate Level Examination can be canceled. So far 22 people including former BJP leader Hakam Singh have been arrested in this examination. About Rs 83 lakh has been recovered from the accused. Many of these accused are such who have assets worth crores of rupees. The STF has also given this information to the Enforcement Directorate. The Director General of Police has ordered to take action against all the accused under the Gangster Act.

CM Instructions –

1. Police investigation should be expedited
2. Take action under Prevention of Money Laundering Act
3. Canceled recruitments should be made afresh
4. Conclude the moving examinations in a neat and timely manner.

Permanent chairman will be appointed in UKSSSC

The Chief Minister also directed to appoint permanent chairman in Uttarakhand Subordinate Selection Commission at the earliest. The government has made a member of the commission, Prakash Thapliyal, as the acting chairman. The Personnel Department has issued its orders.
