Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission UKSSSC, which recruits Group C posts in Uttarakhand, is soon going to make a big change in the exam pattern along with bringing strict anti-copying laws. All the recruitments done by the commission at present are based on only one examination. There is document verification of those who pass an exam. After this their final selection list is sent to the respective departments. This system is now going to change.
After the incident of paper leak in the graduate level examination, UKSSSC is going to end the system of one paper. UKSSSC will issue guidelines and implement 2 Stage recruitment process soon.
Commission Secretary Santosh Badoni said that now the two-tier examination system is going to be implemented. Under this scheme, in any recruitment, first candidates have to pass the pre exam. After that you have to clear the main exam. After this there will be document verification and final selection list will be released.
In the two-tier exam pattern, in the 1st Stage, a pre-exam will be conducted, in which objective type questions will be asked. Till now UKSSSC conduct this stage only, in all the examinations, in which the risk of paper leak is also high. But now those who clear the pre exam will have to appear for the main exam, which will be of written nature. Only those students will be able to pass it who will have in-depth knowledge of their subject. This will drastically reduce cases like copying.
Santosh Badoni, Secretary, Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission said that till now UKSSSC conduct only one test which is based on multiple choice questions. Now the two-tier examination system is going to be implemented. This will definitely make the transparency of the examination more effective.
