With the Unlock, the lock on government recruitment has also started opening. The state government has started preparations to fill the vacant posts in State Universities and other departments. In this episode, preparations have started to fill more than 1000 posts of teachers and other vacancies in the Higher Education Department.
The posts of 455 teachers and 25 librarians will be filled by the Higher Education Department. There are also 214 posts of Group C to be recruited. The responsibility of filling the posts of teachers and librarians has been given to the UKPSC, while the posts of Samuh G will be recruited by the UKSSSC. The proposal for recruitment has been sent to the commission. In June last month, Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat had instructed to take immediate recruitment action on the vacant posts of teachers and other employees.
The departmental minister had asked the director of higher education to send the recruitment requisition to the respective commissions for recruitment. On which the department has sent requisitions. Now the State Public Service Commission and State Subordinate Services Selection Commission will start the recruitment process on these posts soon. On the instructions of the departmental minister, the universities have also started preparing to fill the vacant posts.
Doon University has invited applications for the recruitment of non-teaching staff. Other universities will also start recruitment on vacant posts in a few days. In state universities, 206 posts of teachers and 188 posts of non-teaching staff are vacant. Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that the way for the recruitment of unemployed on 1088 posts in higher education has almost been cleared. Vacant posts of teachers will be filled soon. Along with this, recruitment will also be done on the posts of Librarians and Group C.
