Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is Maharatna Company in India has released a notification for the posts of Technician Apprentice for a period of 01 Year at IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur under the Apprentices Act 1961. The total no. of posts is 100. SAIL invites online applications from Citizens of India for enrolling Apprenticeship Training for a period of 01 Years. Interested and Eligible Candidates may apply online on or before 17 March 2020.

Any Indian Citizen passed out Diploma in Engineering in the concerned specialization from an institute recognized by AICTE, Govt. of India can apply. He/she must pass out 10th/Matric exam under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent. As per guidelines of NATS, candidates passed out diploma earlier than 2017 will not be able to apply for apprenticeship.
The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 28 years as on 28 Feb 2020.
The duration of training will be one year and the contract would be terminated automatically after completion of apprenticeship training period. Shortlisted candidates have to give a notarized undertaking that after completion of training they will not ask for employment.
The candidate will be selected on the basis of merit-based on their marks obtained in Diploma in Engineering. If two or more candidates secure equal marks while preparing the merit list, then the candidate of higher age will be considered.

After registering oneself, one can log in to the home page of the NATS portal as the candidate then goes to Establishments Requests than click Find Establishments. Candidate should select SAIL IISCO STEEL Plant (EWBBRC000016) to apply in passed out the branch of engineering diploma against vacancies appearing on the portal. The closing date for Online Application is 17 March 2020.
