United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of Consultant for its SANKALP scheme in Almora, Uttarakhand. UNDP has invites online application for the recruitment of Consultant – District Level Resource Person till 04 Feb 2022.

The Skills Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion (SANKALP) scheme was launched under the National Skill Development Mission (NSDM) of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) on 19th January 2018 to focus on district-level skilling ecosystem through convergence and coordination. This centrally sponsored Scheme has a six-year implementation period till March 2023.

  • The candidate Should have a bachelor’s degree in Management/Engineering/Social Science or in any other relevant area.
  • Candidate with a Master’s/PG Diploma in Management/Engineering/Social Science or in any other relevant area would be preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in the field related to HR, training and Skill Development, Marketing (managerial level) with any private or public organization/ Trust/NGO/ EPFO registered organization.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with an ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Language Requirements: Fluency in written and oral English and Hindi.

Job Functions :

  1. Overall monitoring, coordination and implementation of State and District level activities under the SANKALP Project.
  2. Provide technical support to districts.
  3. Work in close coordination with State Mission Director, State Skill Mission and UNDP State office
  4. Responsible for conceptualizing and implementing the Skill Development Plan for the state.
  5. Support in implementation and monitoring of COE activities at State Level.
