Qualifications: Candidates shall be 10th pass with a minimum of 50% marks along with ITI examination passed (Provisional National Trade Certificate acceptable) in relevant trade with aggregate of 65% marks. Qualifications for candidates who are to be enrolled for Rigger and Crane Operator (Overhead Steel Industry) as ‘Fresher/ shall be 8th pass only, without ITI.
Age Limit: Born between 01 April 1999 to 31 March 2006
Min. Physical Standards: Height 150cm, Weight not less than 45kg, Chest expansion not less than 5 cm, Eye sight 6/6 to 6/9 (6/9 corrected with glasses)/ external & internal organs to be normal.
Stipend to Apprentices: The min. rate of stipend per month payable to apprentices shall be followed (Rule 11 of Apprenticeship Rules 1992 is relevant),
(a) During the first year of training 70% of min. wage of semi-skilled workers notified by the Maharashtra State.
(b) During the second year of training 80% of min. wage of semi-skilled workers notified by Maharashtra State.
Selection process would consist of two stages i.e. Written Test and Interview. Candidates meeting the eligibility conditions would be called for written examination scheduled to be held at Mumbai. The written examination of 2hours duration would comprise of 100 multiple choice questions on General Science, General Knowledge and Mathematics.
