The Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun invites application for engagement of Technical Personnel for UNESCO Category 2 Centre. WII Dehradun invites applications from bright candidates and citizens of India from Biological & Environmental Sciences / Physical Sciences/ Geo-informatics/ Social Sciences backgrounds for the following posts on contractual basis for the newly established UNESCO Category 2 Centre on World Natural Heritage Management and Training for the Asia-Pacific Region : Technical Officer, Assistant Technical Officer posts and World Heritage Assistant.
WII Dehradun is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India.
It carries out wildlife research in areas of study like Biodiversity, Endangered Species, Wildlife Policy, Wildlife Management, Wildlife Forensics, Spatial Modeling, Eco-development, and Climate Change.
