Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) Chandigarh invites all the candidates for the recruitment of Group ‘C’ posts of Staff Nurses on Temporary Basis. Total No. of Post is 178. Number of vacancies is subject to variation and can be increased or decreased. Interested candidates may apply online on or before 25 October 2018 up to 05:00 pm. Educational Qualification
(i) Diploma in General nursing and Midwifery course from a recognized Board / University / Institution or equivalent. OR
B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent from a recognized Board / University / Institution.
(ii) Registered as Nurse and midwife with State Nursing Council.
(iii) ICT Skill course essentially required from NIELIT:
The Candidate should at least one course out of the following courses from National Institute of Electronics information Technology (NIELIT):
Pay Scale: Rs.10300-34800 + 4600/- Grade Pay
Age Limit: 18-37 Years
Selection of the candidate will be based on the written test. The written test will be consisting of following subjects:

| Part-2 | Practical Assessment type questions (From the relevant fields) | 30 |
| Total | 100 |
Note: The candidates who will pass in Part-1 however, failed in Part-2 will be treated as disqualified / not eligible for counseling. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Part-1 (70 marks) and Part-2 (30 Marks) who will qualified in both tests.
