(A) For Under Graduate Posts:  with Min. Educational Qualification of 12^th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination and Age between 18 to 30 years as on 01 July 2019.

(B) For Graduate Posts: with minimum Educational Qualification of a University Degree or its equivalent and Age Between 18 to 33 Years as on 01 July 2019.

Note: Candidates waiting for Final results of prescribed educational qualification should not apply.

Selection Procedure

Selection of the Candidates will be based on 1^st Stage Computer Based Test, 2^nd Stage Computer Based Test, Typing Skill Test/Computer-Based Aptitude Test (as applicable) and Document Verification/Medical Examination.

• 1^st Stage CBT (Common for all notified posts of this CEN): The examination duration and the number of questions for 1^st stage CBT are indicated below:

Note: The normalized score of 1^st Stage CBT shall be used for shortlisting of candidates for 2^nd Stage CBT as per their merit.

• 2^nd Stage CBT: Separate 2nd Stage CBT shall be taken for each of the 7th CPC Level i.e. Level 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 with the graded difficulty level. All the posts falling within a 7th CPC level shall have a common 2nd Stage CBT. The examination duration and number of questions for 2nd stage CBT are indicated below:

• Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) (Only for candidates who opted for Traffic Assistant and Station Master): Candidates are advised to visit websites of RDSO (www.rdso.indianrailways.gov.in – >Directorates->Psycho Technical Directorate ->Guidelines for Aptitude Test) for question patterns and other details of CBAT.
• Typing Skill Test (TST): For the posts Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Time Keeper, Typing Skill Test (TST) of qualifying nature (marks obtained in typing skill test shall not be added for making merit) shall be conducted for which the number of candidates equal to eight times the number of vacancies for each of the community shall be called for. The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility. For guidelines of those who appear for typing skill test in Hindi, Kruti Dev and Mangal font shall be made available for typing skill test on Personal Computer. The merit will be drawn only for the candidates qualified in the TST based on performance in 2^nd Stage CBT.
• Document Verification (DV): Based on the performance of candidates in 2^nd Stage CBT and based on the performance of candidates in both 2^nd Stage CBT and CBAT/TST (as applicable), candidates equal to the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification as per their merit and options. In addition, candidates equal to 50% (may increase or decrease at the discretion of RRBs) of the number of vacancy for various posts will also be called for document verification.

How to Apply

Eligible Candidates may apply online from 01^st March 2019 to 31^st March 2019. No other modes/means will be accepted. One application ONLY is required to be submitted to the selected Railway for all its notified posts in this CEN. Candidates can apply to only one Railway. Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed Medical Standards for the post(s) they are opting for. Candidates who are found medically unsuitable for the opted post(s) shall not be given any alternative appointment.
