Ministry of Railway, Railway Recruitment Board has released an advertisement for the recruitment OF RRC Level-I (Group-D). Total no. of Post is 1, 03,769. This recruitment includes vacancies for various posts like Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various Technical Departments (Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T departments), Assistant Pointsman and Level-I posts in other departments. Note: Diploma/Degree in Engineering will not be accepted in lieu of course completed Act Apprenticeship / ITI. Also, Graduate Act Apprentice will not be accepted in lieu of Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.
Selection of the Candidates will be based on Computer Based Test (s), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and Medical Examination.

| Should be able to lift and carry 35kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and
Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 04 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance. |

Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 05 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance. |
Eligible Candidates may apply online from 12 March 2019 to 12 April 2019. No other modes/means will be accepted. One application ONLY is required to be submitted to the selected Railway for all its notified posts in this CEN. Candidates can apply to only one Railway. Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed Medical Standards for the post(s) they are opting for. Candidates who are found medically unsuitable for the opted post(s) shall not be given any alternative appointment.
