Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee has released an advertisement for filling up 04 posts of Project Officer (Admin/Account), Project Assistant (Admin), Project Assistant (Admin/Account) and Project Attendant. The engagement is a purely project-based temporary position for 06 months. The posts are for the research project (s) under the Principal Investigator Dr. B.R. Gurjar, Dept./Centre: Dean of Resources and Alumni Affairs (DORA), Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.  Interested candidates may submit their application on or before 05 April by 05:00 PM to the office of Principal Investigator.

Project Officer (Admin / Account) 01 Qualification:

CA/MBA (Finance)

Experience:

At least 04 years of practical experience related to the management of finance and accounts, operations, resource mobilization, CSR activities, etc.

 Rs.25,000 to Rs.50,000 + HRA
Project Assistant (Admin) 01 Qualification:

B.S.W. / B.A. (S.S.)

Experience:

At least 10 years of practical experience related to Liaisoning with corporate houses and philanthropic organizations to connect them with the institute for mobilizing resources, donations, CSR funds, etc

 Rs.15,000 + Rs.35,000 + HRA
Project Assistant (Admin / Account) 01 Qualification:

B.Com./B.B.A. (Finance)

Experience:

At least 05 years of practical experience related to Accounts, Office assistance, Data compilation and processing, and information management, etc.

 Rs.15,000 + Rs.25,000 + HRA
Project Attendant 01 Qualification:

10th Pass

Experience:

At least 02 years of experience related to office supporting activities and skills of computer-related working e.g. word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

 Rs.10,000 + HRA

Necessary Skills:

  • Very good communication skills in English (both written & verbal) for the first two positions.
  • Good practical experience in computer applications.

Selection Procedure

Selection of the candidates will be based on Personal Interview.

  • Application on a plain paper with detailed CV including the chronological discipline of degree/certificates obtained.

Other Details

  • The candidates shall bring along with his/her the original degree (s) / mark sheets/certificate (s) and experience certificate (s) at the time of the Interview for certification.
  • Preference will be given to SC/ST Candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
  • No TA/DA is admissible for attending the Interview.
