These Project Fellow Posts are on a project entitled “Biodiversity assessment of Hasdeo-Arand Coalfields, Surguja District, Chattishgarsh” purely on contractual basis. | Essential Qualification (EQ) | Min. of 60% marks in M.Sc. /M.A. in Wildlife Science, Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Life Science and related biological sciences, Global Environment, and Climate Change Law as well as other Social Sciences. |
| Desirable Qualification (DQ) | Preference will be given to candidates willing to carry out rigorous fieldwork under harsh conditions. Prior experience of working in any other research project will be an added advantage. |

| Work Description | The job involves extensive fieldwork with respect to biodiversity assessment that includes vegetation sampling, camera trapping for animal population monitoring, sampling of herpetofauna, a socio-economic survey in the study area followed by data analysis and report writing. The work also involves liaising with officials of Chhattisgarh Forest Department and other line agencies. |

Selection of the candidates will be based on Personal Interview held on 20 September 2019 at 09:00 AM at Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Chandrabani, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
Interested and Eligible Candidates should report at Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Chandrabani, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, with original application and documents at 09:00 AM on 20 September 2019 for scrutiny of documents followed by Interview on the same day at 11:00 AM onwards.
