Indian Navy has released the notification for the unmarried Male candidates for grant of Permanent Commission in to join the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala under the 10+2 (B Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme. The entry is for course commencing on January 2019.
The Indian Navy is the naval branch of the armed forces of India. The President of India serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy. The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), usually a four-star officer in the rank of admiral, commands the navy. The primary objective of the navy is to secure the nation’s maritime borders; India also uses its navy to enhance its international relations through joint exercises, port visits and humanitarian missions, including disaster relief.
Age limit – born between 02 Jul 1999 & 01 Jan 2002 (both dates inclusive)
Pay Scale – Rs.83, 448 to Rs.96, 024 per month
Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent Examinations from any Board recognized by Council of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE) with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM-Passing in each subject mandatory) and at least 50% marks in English (either in class 10th or 12th).
Who can apply?
Candidates who have appeared for JEE (Main) -2018 (for B.E./B.Tech) exam. Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE ( Main) – 2018 All India Rank.
Commission Type: On Selection, candidates will be granted Commissioned as Sub Lieutenant.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Services Selection Board (SSB) which will be scheduled at Bangalore/Bhopal Coimbatore/Visakhapatnam during July – Oct 2018. After recommended by SSB and declared medically fit, candidate will be selected for training.
Candidates are to register and apply online application through recruitment website www. joinindianavy.gov.in from 2 June 2018 to 21 June 2018. Print One copy of online application form and carry along it along with original certificates/documents while appearing for SSB Interview.
