ECIL released notifications for the recruitment of GEA for Various branches. Interested candidates may attend the walk-in-selection on 01 and 02 March 2019 as per schedule.

Selection Procedure

The selection of Graduate Engineer Apprentices (GEAs) will be processed based on the marks obtained in the Engineering Graduation.

How to Apply

Candidates should attend walk-in selections as per the schedule and produce the following documents:

  • SSC Pass cum Marks Memo.
  • BE/B.Tech. Provisional or Degree Certificate.
  • BE/B.Tech Consolidated Marks Memo.
  • NATS Enrolment Proof
  • Aadhar card / e-Aadhar copy
  • Caste Certificate if applicable
  • PWD/Disability certificate if applicable
  • Recent passport size photos-5 nos

General Conditions

  • Candidates should produce their Original 10th/ SSC Pass cum Marks memo, BE Provisional/Degree, BE Consolidated Marks memo and NATS enrolment proof at the time of walk-in selections otherwise they will not be considered for selection.
  • Candidates who have already undergone or currently undergoing Apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act 1961 in any Government or PSU or Private Organisation are not eligible.
  • Candidates who have completed their Engineering Graduation in the year 2016 or 2017 or 2018 are ONLY eligible.
  • Candidates selected for training will not be allowed to withdraw from training except for reasons which are beyond their control. Before the commencement of the training, the candidates will have to execute a Contract of Apprenticeship.
  • ECIL being highly protected establishment, Apprentices will be engaged only after submission of Character /Conduct certificate from Engineering College and two character certificates attested by two different Gazetted officers. Selected candidates have to submit these certificates at the time of joining
  • A physical fitness certificate from a Civil Assistant Surgeon should be produced by the selected candidate at the time of joining.
