Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF) has released advertisement for the recruitment of 207 Constables (Technical) for Motor Transport Workshop Cadre 2018-19. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent. Last Date of Application form submission is 23 July 2018.
The Border Security Force (BSF) is the primary Border Guarding police force of India. It is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces of the Union of India. It is a Central Armed Police Force charged with guarding India’s land border during peace time and preventing transnational crime.

Level 3 (Rs.21, 700 – Rs.69, 100)
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of performance in written exam, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Professional Knowledge Test and medical test.
Physical Measurement Standards
The physical standards laid down for the post of Constable (Technical) as under –
(i) Height – For Males: 165 cm; For Females: 157 Cm
(ii) Chest – For Male: Unexpanded 75 Cm & Expanded: Min expansion 5 Cm
(iii) Weight – For Males and Females – Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

The eligible and desirous candidates should send their fully filled application in the prescribed Performa duly typed or neatly hand written on full scape paper with two attested passport size photograph. Two self-addressed envelopes of size 25x12cms with postal stamp worth Rs.27 each should also be attached with the application form. The envelope containing application form must be super scribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (TECHNICAL) IN BSF FOR MOTOR TRANSPORT WORKSHOP CADRE 2018-19”.
Candiates have to send the application form to nearest BSF office within 30 days from the publication of this advertisement in Employment Newspaper.
The male candidates applying for the Recruitment should enclose a “Postal Order” or “Bank Draft” for Rs.100 for Constable (Tech) as examination fee. There is no examination fee for SC/ST, Ex-servicemen and women candidates.
