Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. (NPCIL) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of Scientific Assistant/B and Technician/B for its Gorakhpur Haryana Anu Vidyut Pariyojana. NPCIL invites applications for filling up 102 posts of Scientific Assistant and Technician. Interested & Eligible candidates can apply from 15 January to 31 January 2020.

Diploma in Engineering (03 years after SSC) OR HSC (10+2) + 02 years diploma course in Engineering. Diploma Engineering should be in Civil/Mechanical /Electronics & Communication / Electronics / Instrumentation / Electricals Discipline with 60% or above marks and English as one of the subjects at SSC or HSC Level Examinations. A candidate who has pursued Diploma through Lateral entry to 02nd-year Diploma after 10th (SSC) + ITI is not eligible. |

The selection of the candidates will be based on Written Examination (Computer Based Test/OMR). The written exam will be of two hours duration having Two Parts i.e. Part-I consisting of 60 questions from English, General Knowledge, and quantitative aptitude and Part-II will be of 60 questions from respective disciplines. There is no negative marking in the written examination.
All passed candidates will not be called for Interviews. Calling for Interview depends upon the number of candidates qualifying in written examination but should not exceed 05 times the number of vacancies notified. The exact date, time and venue of the Interview will be made available on the website. Email/SMS will also be sent to shortlisted candidates.
Stage 1: Preliminary Test (Computer Based Test/OMR): It will be a screening examination to be held to shortlist candidates. The format of screening examination shall be common and will be in the following format:

Stage 2: Advance Test: All candidates screened in Stage-1 to undertake an advanced test (Computer Based Test) in their respective trade/discipline applicable to the post. The test will comprise 50 multiple choice questions with 03 marks to be awarded for each correct answer and 01 mark to be deducted for each incorrect answer. The test will be of 02 hours duration.
Stage 3: Skill Test: Based upon the merit list prepared after Stage-2, Candidates in each trade will be shortlisted for skill tests. The skill test will be of qualifying nature only on Go/No basis.
