Eligibility Criteria

A.Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on 01 Nov 2018:

• A candidate must possess the min. qualification of a Graduate in Commerce discipline from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in the degree examination (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates; AND
• Must have qualified the Intermediate level of Chartered Accountancy Examination conferred by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; OR
• Must have qualified the Intermediate level of Cost & Management Accountancy Examination conferred by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (erstwhile ICWAI); OR
• Must have qualified as MBA (finance) from a UGC recognized University or Management Institute; OR
• Must have qualified the Post Graduate Degree in Commerce from a UGC recognized university, with at least 60% marks in aggregate for General Candidate an at least 55% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidate.

Preference: (i) In addition to the fulfillment of the above criteria, preference shall be given to the Candidates who have additionally qualified the Fellowship/Associate/Licentiate Examination of the Insurance Institute of India, in the order of qualified stage of the Insurance Examination (Highest to Lowest).

(ii) In addition to the fulfillment of the above criteria, preference shall be given to the candidates who additionally possess qualifications/Certifications in Information Technology.

B. Age Limit: Min. – 21 Years; Max. – 27 Years as on 01 Nov 2018

C. Duration: The period of apprenticeship shall be TWO YEARS (Twenty Four months) which may be extended at the discretion of the Company.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be based on Online Examination and Interview.

Eligible candidates may apply online through the official website http://www.nationalinsuranceindia.com and click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” which will open a new screen. Applications will be accepted only through online mode. Candidates can register on the official website of NICL from 13 Nov to 27 Nov 2018.

Application Fees

• Rs.600 for General/OBC candidates.
• Rs.100 for all others.

Important Instructions

• Candidates are required to upload their Photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm), Signature, and Left Thumb Impression & A handwritten declaration.
• The text for the handwritten declaration is as follows:

“I ______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

• Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
