Uttarakhand High Court has released notification for filling up 2 vacant post of Additional District & Session Judges by direct recruitment in the Uttarakhand Higher Judicial Service in the pay scale of Rs 51,550-1,230-58,930-1,380-63,070. Applications are invited from the practicing Advocates for the posts of Additional District & Session Judges.

Name of Post : Additional District & Session Judges (ADSJ)

Number of Posts : 2 (Gen-1,SC-1)

Age Limit : 35 – 45 years as on 1st Jan 2014

Eligibility & Qualification

  • Candidate must be an advocate of not less than seven years as on 1st Jan 2014
  • The applicants must enclose a certificate of experience and Character from the District Judge of the respective District

Application Fee

For General Candidates : Rs 750/-
For SC Candidates : Rs 600/-

Fee shall be payable in favour of Registrar General, High Court of Uttarakhand, Nainital by way of account payee Demand Draft of any Bank payable at Nainital.

Selection Procedure

Candidate will be selected through written test (Prelims & Main) & Interview. Question will be asked on both Hindi & English.
