National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand invites applications for the trainee teaching posts under Trainee Teacher Scheme in various departments. Eligible and interested candidates can apply in a prescribed application form on or before 12 May 2015.

Salary:
Consolidated salary as per MHRD guideline under Trainee Teachers Scheme will be minimum Rs 41000/- per month as per scheme
B.Tech in relevant discipline from any IIT/NIT/AICTE/UGC approved Institutions/Universities. Final year candidates whose results are likely to be declared on or before 1st July, 2015 may also apply.
Essential Qualification
1st Division in the relevant discipline either from : –
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of written test/ interview.
Shortlisted candidates shall be called for written test/ interview by email. List of the shortlisted candidates and interview schedule will be available on NIT Uttarakhand website (www.nituk.com).
Written test will be conducted on NIT Uttarakhand separate for different branch. Total 40 candidates will be shortlist for each branch written exam. After qualification and shortlisting, totla 10 candidates will be called for interview.
The written examination shall be conducted for 1 hr and will be based on GATE Syllabus. The Written Test and Interviews shall be conducted at NIT Uttarakhand.

More: Selected candidates would be engaged as Trainee Teachers at NIT Uttarakhand to assist in teaching and they would simultaneously go through part time M.Tech and PhD programmes of IITs to acquire higher academic qualifications.
