Kendriya Vidhyalaya Agastyamuni, Rudraprayag has released notification for the recruitment of teachers & Non-Teaching Staff for the academic session of 2023-2024. KV Agastyamuni, Rudraprayag has invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up various posts of Teachers & Nurse. This recruitment is purely on a contractual base. A Walk-In-Interview will conduct on 27 Mar 2023.
Name of the Post and Subject : PGT (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Computer Science)
Educational Qualification : Essential
1. Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; OR
Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:
a) PGT (English)- English
b) PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
c) PGT (Maths) Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics
d) PGT (Physics)–Physics / Electronics/Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics.
e) PGT (Chemistry) Chemistry/ Bio. Chem.
f) PGT (Biology) – Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Bio Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/ Bio-Technology/ Molecular Bio/ Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
2. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university
3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
Name of the Post and Subject : TGT (Maths)
Educational Qualification : Essential
1) Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under :
a) For TGT (Maths) – Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, and Statistics.
Name of the Post and Subject : Primary Teacher (PRT)
Educational Qualification : Essential:
a) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent
b) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
c) Competence to teach through Hindi & English media.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Name of the Post and Subject : Computer Instructor
Educational Qualification : B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science) / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. (Electronic / Computer Science) Graduate, Post Graduate (Physics/Maths) with PGDCA or “A” Level or BCA Degree from the accredited institution.
Name of the Post and Subject : PGT (English, Hindi)
Educational Qualification : Essential
1. Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; OR
Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:
a) PGT (English)- English
b) PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
Name of the Post and Subject : TGT (Sanskrit, English, Social Science)
Educational Qualification : Essential
1) Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under :
a) For TGT (Sanskrit): Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.
b) For TGT (English): English as a subject in all the three years.
d) For TGT (S.St) Any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics, and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography.
2) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
3) Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Educational Qualification : Bachelor Degree and Institutional Diploma / Degree from the accredited institution (Candidates who have both qualifications for sports coach and yoga instructor will be given preference)
Name of the Post and Subject : Nurse
Educational Qualification : Diploma with recognized institution / Govt. approved
Diploma of General Auxiliary Midwife.
Pay Scale – As per KVS norms.
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in interview.

Note: In the in case of the high number of candidates for any post, a one-hour objective examination can be conducted.
Candidates may attend the walk-in interview that will be held from 27 Mar 2023 as per post. Candidates are required to bring all original certificates, testimonials, and publications etc. along with one Xerox set of all the certificates for the interview. Candidates are required to submit their All self attested documents with the application form on or before 27 Mar 2023 through speed post/registered post or by hand at KV Augustyamuni.
