National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand invites applications for the teaching posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in various departments. Eligible and interested candidates can apply in a prescribed application form on or before 22th April 2014.

Pay Scales:
Professor : PB 4 : 37,400 – 67,000/- With AGP 10,500/- (Minimum Pay 48,000/-)
Associate Professor : PB 4 : 37,400 – 67,000/- With AGP 9,500/- (Minimum Pay 42,800/-)
Assistant Professor : PB 3 : 15,600 – 39,100/- With AGP 8,000 (Minimum Pay 30,000/-)
Assistant Professor (On Contractual) : PB 3 : 15,600 – 39,100/- With AGP 6,000/- (7 additional non – compoundable for PhD candidates)
For Professor : PhD and 10 years experience after PhD and atleast 3 years as Associate Professor.
For Associate Professor : PhD and 06 years experience after PhD
For Assistant Professor : PhD and 03 years experience after PhD
For Assistant Professor (On Contractual) : PhD and/or M.Tech
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of written test/ interview.
Shortlisted candidates shall be called for written test/ interview by email. List of the shortlisted candidates and interview schedule will be available on NIT Uttarakhand website (www.nituk.com).
The written examination shall be conducted for 1 hrs and will be based on the fundamental topics of GATE/NET/SET Syllabus. Candidates shortlisted for the posts of Professor/Associate Professor shall appear for Personal Interview without written test.
