The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission on Thursday canceled the advertisements of 12 recruitments after the UKSSSC paper leak controversy left the responsibility of recruitment to the UKPSC. Out of these, 3842 posts of Group-C were also to be recruited. Now new advertisement will be issued by the UKPSC on these posts. Police Constable recruitment is not canceled, Physical test has been completed by UKSSSC and now UKPSC will conduct written test.
On the instructions of the government, the UKSSSC meeting was held after the responsibility of recruitment was transferred from the UKSSSC to the UKPSC. In this, advertisements of 12 recruitments were canceled with immediate effect under the notification.
These advertisements were issued from June last year to February this year, in which more than one lakh youth had applied for recruitments like Lekhpal-Patwari. Secretary of the Subordinate Services Selection Commission, Surendra Singh Rawat said that in the order of the notification, the advertisements of the recruitments have been canceled.
All these recruitments are such, whose online applications were completed. The Subordinate Services Selection Commission was preparing for their examination, but now after the cancellation of the advertisement, the State Public Service Commission will issue their advertisement afresh. All the candidates have to apply online again. The commission is going to release the calendar of recruitments soon.
