Indian Army has released the notification for enrolment on the NCC Special Entry Scheme 48th Course (OCT 2020) Short Service Commission (NT) for Men & Women (Including wards of Battle casualties of Army Personnel). Total No. of Post is 55. Applications are invited from unmarried Male and Female (including wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel), for Grant of Short Service Commission of the Indian Army. Interested candidates may apply online from 08 Jan to 06 Feb 2020.

For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders A) Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of min. 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. Those studying in the final year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured min. 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years of 03/04 years degree course respectively. Such students will need to secure an overall aggregate of min. 50% marks in degree course if selected in Interview, failing which their candidature will be CANCELLED. B) Service in NCC: Should have served for min. 03 academic years in the senior Division / Wing of NCC. C) Grading: Should have obtained min. of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC. Applicants, who are not holding NCC ‘C’ Certificate on date of application, are not eligible to apply for the course. For Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel A) Educational Qualification: Degree of recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of min. 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. B) NCC Certificate NOT required for Wards of Battle Casualties. |

Note: Stipend to Gentlemen or Lady Cadets during the entire duration of training in Service academics i.e. during the training period at OTA is Rs.56100 pm.
The selection of the candidates will be based on Shortlist applications based on Cut off percentage applied as decide. After the shortlisting of candidates, the center allotment will be intimated to a candidate online. After allotment of selection center, candidates will have to select their SSB dates on a first come first serve basis.
Candidates are required to send the application online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in . No other mode of application is acceptable. The submission of the online application will be accepted until 06 February 2020.
