Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Uttarakhand has released advertisement for the recruitment of Upper Division Clerk (UDC) & Stenographer.  Total No. of Posts is 10. These posts are on regular basis by Direct Recruitment in ESIC. Interested candidates may apply online from 16 March to 15 April 2019.

Employee’s State Insurance (abbreviated as ESI) is a self-financing social security and health insurance scheme for Indian workers. This fund is managed by the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) according to rules and regulations stipulated there in the ESI Act 1948. ESIC is an autonomous corporation by a statutory creation under the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India.

Clerk & Stenographer Recruitment in ESIC Uttarakhand

Upper Division Clerk (UDC) 09 1. A Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

Age Limit

Between 18 to 27 years as on the closing date 15.04.2019.

Pay Scale

Revised pay as per 7th Central Pay Commission for the post is Level- 4 of Pay Matrix (Civilian employees) with Entry Pay Rs.25500/-, replaced against Pay Band Rs.5200- 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2400/- of 6th Central Pay Commission.

Application fees

  • Rs.250 for SC/ST/PWD/Departmental Candidates, Female Candidates & Ex-Servicemen
  • Rs.500 for all other categories.

Important Instructions

  • Candidates are required to upload their Photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm), Signature, and Left Thumb Impression & A handwritten declaration.
  • The text for the handwritten declaration is as follows:

“I ______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

  • Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.

Selection Procedure

Selection of the candidates will be based on the Computer Based Test and Skill Test. Scheme of Examination for the post of Stenographer is as under:

  • Stenography Test: – Stenography Test for 10 minutes with a speed of 80 words per minute in English or Hindi and transcription of the same on the computer for one hour. VH candidate will be required to transcribe the matter in 85 minutes for English Shorthand or in 95 minutes for Hindi Shorthand for the post of Stenographer.
