Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of Engineering Service Examination 2020. Total of 495 vacancies has declared for the post of engineers. UPSC invites online application from Indian MALE/FEMALE candidates for Engineering Service Examination 2020. Eligible and Interested candidates may apply online for the given post from 25 Sep to 15 Oct 2019.
Total No. of Post: 495
Recruitment on the results of this examination will be made to the services/posts under the following categories:
(A) Category I: Civil Engineering (B) Category II: Mechanical Engineering
(C) Category III: Electrical Engineering (D) Category IV: Electronics & Telecommunication Engg.
(i) Candidates must be obtained a degree in Engineering form a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.
(ii) For Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engg. Posts): M.Sc. Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject.
(ii) For Indian Radio Regulatory Service: M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with wireless communication electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special Subject or Masters’ Degree in Science with Physics and Radio Communication or Electronics or Telecommunication as a special subject.
Selection of the candidates will be based on Prelim Examination, Mains Examination and Personality Test. These Exams will be divided into 3 Stages.
(A) Stage I: Preliminary Examination: The examination shall comprise of 2 papers

(B) Stage II: Mains Examination: This stage will consist two conventional type papers in Engineering Discipline specific with duration of 03 hours and max. Marks of 600.

Candidates will be required to complete an online application form containing two stages via, Part -I and Part -II using the website www.upsconline.nic.in from 25 Sep to 15 Oct 2019. No other means/modes will be accepted.
