Uttarakhand Forest Department will recruit 300 Forest Guards soon. New recruitment may include candidates who have filled applications for 1218 posts earlier. These posts will be filled as per new age and qualifications as per government decision.
It is known that almost half of the Forest Guard post have been vacant since many years. To fill these Forest Guard post last year government has started the recruitment of 1218 Forest Guards. But that was stopped due to age (24 years) and educational qualification (12th with Science). In the meantime many Forest Guards have been retired. Uttarakhand Forest Department is preparing new standards of recruitment and soon released notification for 300 Forest Guard recruitment in Uttarakhand.
Department has written a leeter to USSSC for the recruitment of Forest Guards. It has been proposed by the department that Age for recruitment to be 28 years and educational qualification to be 12th pass in any stream.
