Due to Covid-19, recruitment examinations have not been held across the state. In such a situation, the dream of government job of unemployed youths should not be broken due to corona infection, Uttarakhand government has decided to give one year relaxation in government recruitments. Now candidates up to the age of 43 will also be able to apply for all the recruitments starting by June 2022.
Govt told that due to Covid-19, the recruitment process was disrupted for the last one and a half years. Meanwhile, a large number of unemployed have crossed the maximum age limit of 42 years for government jobs. For this reason, the state government has decided to give one year relaxation in the upper age limit to all such unemployed. This exemption will be applicable till 30 June 2022.
It is worth noting that last year also, the government had provided one year relaxation in the upper age limit, which ended on June 30. Due to this, the government has now given it an extension of one year.
The benefit of increase in age limit will also be given for those recruitment examinations for which the application process has been completed. For this, examination agencies including UKPSC, UKSSSC and other will once again start the application process for such candidates.
Secretary of Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission UKSSSC, Santosh Badoni told that the selection year of the commission is from July 1 to June 30. In this context, the extension of age limit will not make any difference in the applications filled before June 30. However, in the applications that will come from July, the age limit will be 43 years. The situation will be clear only after the due order of the rest of the cabinet. UKSSSC is soon going to start the application process for more than 1000 posts.

Yes it is good news but yesterday uttarakhand public service commission has released advertisement for
assistant prosecution officer post ,in which one year age relaxation is not given by the commission ,as declared by the honourable C.M.. I think govt. Orders not issued yet.
