For Home Guard recruitment, the minimum age of the candidate has been kept at 18, while the maximum age has been kept at 40 years. Educational qualification will be minimum 10th. 10 marks for educational qualification, maximum five marks for other qualification like NCC, five marks for skilled sportsperson, five marks for skilled vehicle driver, five marks will also be prescribed for eligible family members of paid and unpaid home guards.
