In place of Badoni, Joint Secretary in the State Secretariat, Surendra Singh Rawat has been given additional responsibility of the post of Secretary in UKSSSC. The government has also deployed the post of Controller of Examinations of the Commission, which has been vacant since December. PCS officer Shalini Negi has been entrusted with this responsibility.
After the posting of Controller of Examinations in the UKSSSC, the way has been opened for the recruitment of about 4200 posts of Group C. Earlier, in the paper leak case, the Subordinate Services Selection Commission, which was surrounded by controversies, had put a stop to the deployment of the controller of examination. Now more than 3 lakh unemployed people sitting in the hope of getting jobs will get relief.
The chair of the controller of examination was vacant in the commission for eight months. Before resigning, President S Raju had sent a letter to the government to stop the eight examinations of upcoming recruitments. In which it was said that until the Controller of Examinations is not posted in the commission, it is not possible to conduct recruitment examinations. Since the retirement of Controller of Examinations Narayan Singh Dangi in December, Secretary Santosh Badoni was handling the responsibility of Controller of Examinations.
Now after the deployment of Controller of Examinations, the way has been opened for examinations like Patwari-Lekhpal, Police Constable, Forest Guard, Assistant Accountant Re-Exam. A large number of youth have applied for all the posts in these departments. These recruitment exams are expected to be conducted in the next six months. It is being told that more than three lakh youth are waiting for these eight recruitment examinations.
