Uttarakhand Public Sevice Commission UKPSC has decided to complete recruitment process at 2652 vacant posts it has received from various Govt Departments in Uttarakhand within a year.

Under the chairmanship of the newly appointed Chairman of UKPSC, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, a meeting of the commission was held and necessary guidelines have been issued while taking many important decisions. These include requisitions of 2652 posts received from various departments of Uttarakhand government, mainly Lecturer in Government Inter Colleges, Combined State Civil / Upper Subordinate Services Examination-2021 (PCS), Combined State Lower Subordinate Services Examination- 2019 (Lower PCS), Combined State Engineering (AE) Services Examination – 2021, Combined Junior Engineer (JE) Examination – 2021, Assistant Professors in Government Colleges etc. are included. The target has been set to be complete the recruitment process within one year i.e. the year 2022.

In the recruitment process, advertisement to the applications received online, the inspection of the applications received, as per the rules, the selection examinations such as preliminary examination, main examination and interview examination are to be conducted in a phased manner, while making sure that the selection recommendations are sent to the concerned departments of the government. A time limit is being set for each level till completion. It was clearly told by the newly appointed Chairman Dr. Rakesh Kumar to all the officers of the Commission that no delay would be tolerated at any stage and the responsibility of every officer/employee of the Commission would be fixed for this.

It was also directed by Chairman Dr. Rakesh Kumar that a dashboard should be prepared in the Commission for monitoring. In order to conduct all the examinations in a parallel manner, sub-committees of the members of the commission are being constituted and all the selection examinations will be conducted under the supervision of these sub-committees only, so that the commission can achieve the set goals within the stipulated time and excel at the time.

    Time line should be prepared for each examination and accordingly calender for conducting exam should be published on the same line as upsc and UPPSC.
    Minimum 2 month time should be given to each exam before publishing the calender.
