Online applications will be made from January 3 for the recruitment of 1521 posts of Police Constable, PAC and Fireman in Uttarakhand Police. Whereas applications for recruitment at 93 posts of Statistics department in Uttarakhand will start from December 30. Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission UKSSSC has released the release of both these recruitments. Also UKSSSC releases advertisement notification for 221 post of Sub Inspectors and 272 posts of Head Constables in Uttarakhand Police.
Secretary of the commission, Santosh Badoni said that under the Home Department, a total of 1521 posts of constable, constable PAC and IRB and fireman are being recruited. Whereas this recruitment will be done on 93 posts of statistics and computer category in various Govt departments of Uttarakhand. He said that for police recruitment in Uttarakhand candidates can apply online from January 3 to February 16 and for the second recruitment in various departments, candidates will be able to apply online from December 30 to February 12. Class 12th pass for police and for second recruitment candidates with Graduation or Post Graduation in statistics and maths etc will be eligible.
The age of male candidates should be 18 to 23 years and female candidates should be 18 to 26 years for police recruitment. There is a relaxation of one year in this. The age limit for the posts of Statistics has been kept from 21 to 43 years. Under the order of the state government, both can apply for the recruitment free of cost. No fee of any kind will be charged. There will be two main phases of police recruitment. First there will be physical measurement and physical efficiency test. After that there will be a written test. After this, on the basis of merit order, candidates will be given the opportunity to choose the posts. Five percent reservation will be given to those who have served as home guards for three years in the posts of police constables.
