Uttarakhand Education Department is ready to recruit 10000 Guests Teachers in Uttarakhand Schools. On Monday, government has released the GO for the vacancies of Guests Teachers.

Guest teachers recruitment will be done in two categories – LT & Lecturer. Each will have around 5000 vacancies. All recruitment will be done on the Block level. Candidates will be posted on same block where he/ she belongs.
It is noted that more than 10000 teachers posts are vacant in Uttarakhand. Government is trying to take education to remote areas of state. The recruitment process will be completed within 4-5 days. Official avertisement will be published in the coming days.
Minimum salary will be between 10-15 thousand and depends upon the number of periods. LT will get Rs 125 per period and Lecturer Rs 150 per period. Maximum Rs 15000 will be take out salary.
The four member selection committee headed by DM will select the guest teachers from the merit list of candidates (block wise) prepared by Block Education Officer & SDM. A pool of candidates of double the vacancies will be made to select the guest teachers at each block level.
District level reservation is to be followed and 15 days paid leaves are allowed in a session.
