The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has postponed the process of filling 1201 vacancies of Group ‘C’ till further orders, preventing coronavirus infection. The new date to start the application process will be announced later. The Commission has also clarified that the candidates who have applied for these posts so far will not have to apply again. Only new candidates will be required to apply.
Commission Secretary Santosh Badoni said on Monday that the recruitment process was going on for 121 posts of Livestock Dissemination Officer / Inspector, 331 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) and 746 posts of Data Entry Operators in 60 different departments. In which candidates from all over the state were applying online, but the country and Uttarakhand have not remained untouched by the coronavirus spread across the world. Keeping vigilance towards Corona, the Commission has postponed the application process for the vacant posts of various departments concerned. He clarified that the candidates who have filled the online application forms for the vacant posts till Monday. They will be acceptable. Candidates who are left out will also get a chance.
The commission will announce new dates as conditions return to normal from Corona. These examinations can also be moved further. The secretary of Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has also clarified that the application process for the posts of Forest Officer, Agricultural Officer, and Assistant Accountant in GB Pant University and Junior Engineer of Civil in Drinking Water Corporation has been completed. The estimated time of written examination for the vacant posts of the four departments was kept in the months of April and May, but the dates of examinations may change in view of the coronavirus. Its information will be given to the candidates on time.
