More than 25000 youth preparing for Forest Guard recruitment are stunned by the decision of halting recruitment process. All these candidates who already apply for the 1218 posts of Forest Guards in Uttarakhand don’t have to worry much. The administration has taken up the decision after taking account of some issues regading age and qualification in the present manual of Uttarakhand forest Service.

Reasons Why Forest Guard Recruitment Process Halted ?

  • As per Uttarakhand Forest Service Manual 2016, which was edited in last Congress govt, Forest Guard post to be treated as Samuh G post and to be filled by Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Board.
  • As per manual, the age for Forest Guard is to be 24 yrs & educational qualification of the candidates is to be from Science or Agriculture stream.
  • Now, after question are raised against present manual, the present government may remove the discrepancies in the manual and extend the age and qualifications to favour candidates.
  • New manual might raise the age for recruitment to 32 or 42 and include the arts stream candidates into the recruitment process.

So When will the Forest Guard Recruitment again start ?

Soon, the recruitment will start as soon as the manual for the Forest Gaurd Bharti change and replace the age & qualifications standards. All candidates have to remain continuous on preparing for exam as this extend in age & qualification will raise the competition.
