Latest Update : 400 Bandi Rakshak (Jail Guards) Recruitment in Uttarakhand Jails
Uttarakhand state government has given directions for the recruitment of 1000 doctors and 300 Jail Bandi Rakshak (Prison Guards) in the state. Shortly UKPSC will announce the recruitment of 1000 doctors in Utttarakhand. Similarly State Home Ministry has directed Prison Authorities to start the recruitment of Bandi Rakshak (Prison Guards) in Uttarakhand.
Out of 2467 post of doctors in Uttarakhand, 1494 are vacant. It may be happen that next recruitment will be done by newly State Medical Recruitment Board in Uttarakhand. Within six months doctors vacancy will be filled as said by UKPSC.
In other hand, Prison Authorities are now changing the standard of recruitment and eligibilty for Prison Guards (Bandi Rakshak). Now educational qualification will be rise to 12th class passed from earlier 10th class and minimum age would be 21 years now. Physical Eligibilty Test (PET) will be on same standards as of Constable recruitment. Now candidates have to pass 5 km race, ball thro, long and high jumps for selection in Bandi Rakshak in Uttarakhand.
