After 4 years, ban on recruitments in 3 Urja Nigams of Uttarakhand has been lifted. Now recruitment can be done on 144 freeze posts of UPCL, PITCUL & UJVNL. There was ban implemented by State Government after 7th Pay commission implementation in 2017.
As per order released by Senior Secretary Dr Ahmed Iqbal, now recruitment could be done on 60 posts of Junior engineers Electrical & Mechanical in UPCL, 42 posts of Junior engineers Electrical & Mechanical in PITCUL, 01 post of Human Resource Officer & 11 posts of Assistant Store Manager in UJVNL.
For all above posts recruitment was banned in 25 Sep 20217. Now Finance Department has also given permission to unfreeze these posts.
