The aspirants for the Indian Military Service need to pull up their socks now as according to some sources, the Army recruitment panel has altered some of the selection rules. Now the candidates will have to buckle up for the race as the total time given for the race has been reduced. All the new recruitment rules will be implemented from April 2017, however those changes will not be applicable on the candidates of the hilly areas. Under the old recruitment process, earlier the candidates were required to finish a 400-meter long track for 1600 meters race, after which the selected ones had to face medical tests and later a written examination was held, after which the final results were finally announced.
