In the last one year, 377 personnel of state police and paramilitary forces have been martyred. Of these, three policemen are also from Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand is very sensitive in view of its geographical and strategic importance. Here international borders meet with Nepal and China. Apart from this, many other challenges in which big festivals, Chardham Yatra, disasters, landslides, Kanwar Yatra etc. are prominent.
On this occasion, he also approved the demand of grade pay of the policemen. After this announcement of the Chief Minister, about 1500 soldiers will get its benefit. After the announcement, there is enthusiasm among the families of the policemen.
