To appear in the LT recruitment examination of Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC), the candidates of the Containment Zone will have to undergo a Corona test. Without this report, he/ she will not be able to enter the examination center. At the same time, no infected candidate will be able to appear in the examination. The Commission is going to send a letter in this regard to all the District Magistrates.
The UKSSSC LT recruitment examination is going to be held in two shifts on 25th April in the state. About 50000 candidates are registered in it. Due to the ever increasing Covid infection, the Commission will conduct this examination in two shifts. Half of the subjects will be in the first shift and half of the subjects will be in the second shift.
The Commission has made it clear that no corona infected will be able to appear for the examination. Thermal screening will be done at the examination center. The candidate whose temperature found higher, he/ she will give examination sitting in a separate isolation room.
The number of containment zones in the state is rapidly increasing. By Sunday, there were 52 containment zones in the state. There are 27 in Dehradun, six in Haridwar, 18 in Nainital and one containment zone in Tehri. Commission Secretary Santosh Badoni said that a letter is being sent to all the District Magistrates for the candidates residing in these areas.
Under this, admit card will be considered as an e-pass for the examination. Second, the administration will conduct a mock screening of candidates coming from these areas. Candidates will have to bring a Covid negative report within 72 hours.
