Good news for all candidates looking for government jobs in roadways department, soon Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) is going to recruit 300 posts of Driver. This recruitment will be done through the outsourcing agency. Uttarakhand roadways have issued tenders for the selection of the agency.
There is a shortage of about 400 drivers in roadways. Its impact is on daily buses operated. Most of the roadways buses stand in workshops. While some buses are being operated continuously with the same driver. According to the rules, after a detour, the driver must rest after the duty. Now 350 new settlers are also coming in roadways, which will increase the driver’s crises. Looking at this, Roadways has started preparing to recruit drivers from an outsourcing agency. E-Tender has been issued for agency selection. General Manager (Operations) Roadways Deepak Jain told that the agencies can submit the tender till August 1, 2019. After this, the recruitment process will begin.
There is only one outsourcing agency in Uttarakhand “UPNAL”, but through this, the ex-servicemen and their dependents are given jobs only. Apart from this, there is no outsourcing agency in Uttarakhand yet. It is, therefore, decided that the outsourcing agency will recruit drivers in Uttarakhand RoadwaysAlthough in Uttarakhand, the exercise of making the outsourcing agency to the youth welfare department started long ago, but the proposal has been pressed in the files for many years.
