Good news for all the candidates preparing for UKSSSC exam in the state. Now the appointment on the post of Accountant and Assistant Accountant in all the government departments will be on the basis of the same service manual. For the first time in the state, the Department of Personnel has issued notification of the Common Service Manual for the Subordinate Account Cadre (non-gazetted). The posts of this cadre will not be appointed by the Departmental Service Manual.
The service rules at the departmental level are different for subordinate accounting cadre. As a result, there were differences in educational qualifications for the appointment of accountant and assistant accountant posts under this cadre. Many departments had the mandate of ‘O’ level courses. While many departments had the provision of BBA Degree (Bachelor in Business Administration). In view of this, the Department of Personnel has now implemented the same service manual for the post of subordinate accounting cadre. After notification issued by Additional Chief Secretary Personnel Radha Raturi, the departmental service rules have been canceled.
Under the subordinate accounting cadre, a similar educational qualification has been set for appointment to accountant and assistant accountant posts in the departments. Bachelor of Commerce, BBA, Post Graduate Accounting and Hindi Typing will be required from a recognized university. Age limit is 21 to 42 years.
The Department of Personnel is working on making common rules for other departments. For example, the AE and JE posts are in almost all departments, but for their appointment, the departments have made their own rules. There is no uniformity, whereas the level of posting and methodology is similar. For this, suggestions have been sought from the department of personnel from the departments regarding the rules.
