The situation of unemployment in Uttarakhand is that all the records of applications for UKSSSC recruitment at 854 posts were broken. This recruitment is being done by Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission, in which 2,19,000 candidates have applied for various Group C posts. Now it has become difficult for the Commission to conduct its examination in May because so many examination centers are not available.
The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission had issued a notification in November for 854 posts for Graduation Pass youth. For this, online applications were sought from 10 November to 8 January 2021. The Commission had proposed the examination in May for this recruitment. Two lakh 19 thousand applications have been received for this recruitment. This is the highest figure ever.
Earlier, maximum one lakh 56 thousand candidates had applied for the Forest Guard Recruitment Examination. Now, because of Corona, it is mandatory to follow social distancing at the examination centers, so the biggest challenge before the commission is to conduct the examination in May. For the examination of so many candidates, the Commission is not getting the examination centers.
In this graduation level examination of the Commission, there will be a tough competition. This recruitment examination is to be held for a total of 854 posts, for which two lakh 19 thousand applications have been received. That is, more than 256 contenders are in the fray for one seat.
