After 31st of March, around 60000 B.Ed qualified students have lost chance to become a primary teacher. As per new rules, it is compulsary that all B.Ed students will do diploma in elementary education (D.El.Ed). Education department has given a chance to apply for basic teacher. Yesterday, 1164 students have been selected for basic teacher.
In state there are approx 30 thousand BEd TET qualified and 60 thousand BEd qualified students still waiting for job opportunity. After 31 March they will not be able to apply for primary teacher. If government change its decision and extend the last date then there are approx 60000 students will get the last chance to become primary teacher.
