UTET 2021 Notification Released

Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2021 Notification

UTET 2021 notification is released by UBSE for the BEd candidates of Uttarakhand state. UTET is now mandatory to become teacher in Uttarakhand schools. UTET Application form is available online.

UTET Format

UTET is conducted in two sections – UTET I and UTET II. Candidates can apply for both UTET I & UTET II as both papers will be conducted on different time frame on same date.

UTET I – It is for BEd candidates to become teacher for Class I-V in Uttarakhand primary schools.

UTET II – It is for BEd candidates to become teacher for Class IV-IX in Uttarakhand middle schools.

Eligibility Criteria

1. UTET I for Primary Teachers (Class I-V)

The eligibility conditions for the primary teachers consist of the following minimum qualification as mentioned below:

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with the minimum 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed/ BTC)

Or

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) as per the Regulations 2002.

Or

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with the minimum 50% marks and 4-year preliminary Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED)

Or

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and education with minimum 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)

Or

• Graduation (or its equivalent) and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed)/ BTC.

Or

• Siksha Mitra who passed 2 years Diploma (D.EL.Ed) from IGNOU.

Or

• Graduation with at least 50% marks and D.Ed/B.Ed (Special Education).

2. UTET II for Middle School Teachers (Class VI-VIII)

The eligibility conditions for the higher primary teachers consist of the following minimum qualification as mentioned below:

• Graduation (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma ((B.T.C/ D.EL.Ed) in Elementary Education.

Or

• Graduation (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor (B.Ed/L.T/Shiksha Shastri) in Education.

Or

• Graduation (or its equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor (B.Ed/L.T/Shiksha Shastri) in Education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

Or

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EL.ED).

Or

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.Sc.Ed.

Or

• Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education).

How to Apply

Application form of UTET 2021 is available online and eligible candidates may apply from 01 Sept 2021 to 30 Sept 2021.

Exam Pattern

The Teacher Eligibility test will be based on multiple choice questions. The distribution of the marks for the various sections is as follows:

1. For Primary Level (Class I-V) UTET I

2. For Higher Primary Level (Class VI-VIII) UTET II

Sir in utet exam of 2018 I have earned 89 marks in utet-1 and 80marks in utet-2 as I have checked it from the official answer key.
I want to know ….that I am differently abled person which I forget to mention it during filling the exam….how do I mention this that I am a different abled person and need to mention it in my exam to earn the relaxation in my marks….plz help me sir….is it possible to do so….if it is…tell me how and what should I do….to get relaxation marks in utet -2018 without mentioning it in my form

Dear sir, I have complete my graduation with 44.74% but I have done also PG with 50% than IHave done my B.ed. So I can fill up the both the uter form on the based on M.A.. Becoz the criteria was if we have not 50% in graduation & if we get 50% in PG than we can do B.ed &after that we can submit the both the uter form. Thanks
