The Parliament of India Joint Recruitment Cell invites applications from Indian National for the posts of Stenographer(English/Hindi) and Staff Car Driver in Lok Sabha Secretariat. The
Stenographer: 41 (UR 25, SC 07, ST 04, OBC 05) in pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade pay: Rs. 4200
Staff Car Driver: 04 (UR 3, OBC 1) in pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200 (PB-1) + Grade Pay: Rs. 2400.
Age: Maximum 27 Years on 10 November 2014 for both posts. (Relaxation as/ per rules for reserved categories).

| Stenographer | Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university & possessing a minimum shorthand speed of 80 words per minute in English/Hindi. | Certificate in computer course recognized by AICTE/DOEACC or courses equivalent to ‘O’ Level in terms of syllabus & duration of course as prescribed by DOEACC. (Desirable) |
| Staff Car Driver | Matriculation/equivalent & a valid commercial LMV/HMV licence. | Skill & experience in driving motor vehicles. |
Selection will be done by Written Test and skill test for those who qualify the written test.
Stenographer

Eligible candidates can download the prescribed format of application from the website http://www.loksabha.nic.in under Recruitment section and complete it, affix self attested photographs at required places and send the completed application along with self attested photocopy of matriculation examination certificate to "The Joint Recruitment Cell, Room No. 521, Parliament House Annexe, New Delhi-110001". by ordinary post before 10 November 2014. The envelope containing application form must be superscribed with the name of post applied for. Applicants applying for multiple posts need to send separate applications. Incomplete or applications not in the prescribed format will be rejected.
