Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released notification of Junior Engineer Examination 2023 . A written exam will be conducted for selecting candidates for filling up posts of Junior Engineers, Group B Non Gazette posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations. Interested and Eligible candidates may apply online from 26 Jul 2023 to 16 Aug 2023.

Selection of the candidates will be based on the Computer Based Examination. Based on the normalized marks scored in the (Paper I) i.e. Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II (Conventional Type). Based on the performance in Paper I + Paper II, candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification. Final selection and allocation of Ministries/ Departments will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper-I + Paper-II and the preference of Posts/ Departments exercised by them at the time of Document Verification.
